About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and team-oriented Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team at BP Sunbury in Sunbury on Thames, Surrey. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen and restaurant areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general portering duties, including maintaining the cleanliness of the dishwash and surrounding areas.
  • Carry out all washing up duties for a busy kitchen and restaurant.
  • Clean and sterilize countertops, walls, and sinks.
  • Ensure FOH and BOH are clean and tidy.
  • Assist with basic food preparation if required.
  • Participate in daily and weekly deep cleans.
  • Assist with deliveries and organize them in the correct storage areas.
  • Remove waste from waste containers and dispose of them in the correct external bins.
  • Provide assistance to front-of-house and kitchen staff as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Customer-focused and a good communicator.
  • Excellent team player with a flexible approach to duties.
