Pastoral Lead

Career Teachers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pastoral Lead / Head of Year to join our team at a secondary school in North West Leicestershire.
Key Responsibilities:- Support students who require additional support for their overall development, including academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Develop and maintain a positive ethos within the year group that encourages students to have high expectations of themselves and others.
- Assess and monitor students' progress across the academic year.
- Encourage and motivate the learning of pupils.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers when discussing sensitive topics.
- Relevant experience working in KS3 and KS4.
- DBS certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to work with students with challenging behaviour.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Degree is desirable.
