We're seeking an experienced HTML5 Digital Courseware Developer to join our team at Rolls-Royce Nuclear (Submarines). As a leader in propulsion system design and development for the Royal Navy's nuclear submarine fleet, we're committed to delivering cutting-edge training solutions.

This is a full-time role with a mix of office and remote work. You'll work closely with our Training Development Team to design and develop interactive digital courseware solutions that meet the needs of our staff, customers, and partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Updating and refreshing existing training content using our purpose-built eLearning HTML5 framework.
  • Developing innovative HTML5 solutions to deliver interactive animated content that meets the needs of our training requirements.
  • Collaborating with internal and external teams to provide well-considered digital courseware solutions.
  • Attending external events to advance your knowledge, develop partner relationships, and represent the Rolls-Royce brand.
  • Requiring a degree in digital learning design or equivalent relevant experience supported by a professional portfolio.
  • Proven working knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, and ActionScript to develop digital solutions from start to completion.
  • Experience in supporting the conversion of Flash content into an HTML5 framework, including 3D models and animation in online and classroom environments.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Animate, Illustrator, and Photoshop, is an advantage.
  • Experience in delivering time-critical projects to a defined quality standard.
