Mechanical Works Supervisor

Streamline Search is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Works Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of mechanical plants across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and monitor the work of your team and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to company HSEQ and technical requirements.
- Deliver toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety and quality within the team.
- Liaise with the Project Engineer on matters related to health and safety, technical issues, specifications, and progress updates.
- Implement the company's quality assurance procedures.
- Liaise with clients and main contractors as necessary.
- Experience in the water industry and construction site environments.
- Recognized practical qualifications and certificates, including IOSH, CSCS Card, and DOMS/National Water Hygiene.
- A thorough understanding of relevant health and safety regulations and risk assessments.
- Ability to travel throughout Scotland and occasionally other parts of the UK.
- Experience in mechanical plant repair, maintenance, and refurbishment, site surveys, problem-solving, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with pumps and drive motor removal and installations.
