About the Company:

Gleeson Recruitment Group is working exclusively with a leading Midlands based retailer looking to appoint a Head of Marketing. This is a fantastic senior position, overseeing all marketing activity, launches, activations and seasonal campaigns.

Reporting into the Marketing Director, this Head of Marketing role will oversee all marketing channels, responsible for commercial delivery and creative output. The role will lead a team of marketers and also deliver through a team of channel specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Lead a team of marketers to deliver high-quality marketing campaigns and activations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Manage marketing budgets and resources to optimize ROI and achieve business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to inform marketing strategies and tactics.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in senior marketing roles, with a strong track record of delivering business growth and revenue.
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing channels, including shopper marketing and in-store activation.
  • Strong commercial and creative mindset, with the ability to think strategically and deliver tactically.
  • Excellent people management and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a strong focus on customer engagement and satisfaction.
