**Job Summary:**
First Military Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Workshop Engineer to join our team. As a Workshop Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out routine pre-delivery inspections of new machines, fitting extras, modifying machines according to guidelines, and performing repairs and servicing.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Conduct thorough pre-delivery inspections of new machines to ensure they meet quality standards
* Fit factory-approved and locally supplied extras to machines as required
* Modify machines according to guidelines and specifications
* Perform all forms of repair and servicing to machines
* Contribute to the repair, overhaul, and diagnosis of plant equipment
* Develop effective working relationships with the Workshop Team and support others as needed
* Maintain a safe and healthy working environment for yourself and others
* Ensure customer expectations are met by maintaining clear communication with the Workshop Supervisor
* Contribute to the success of the apprenticeship program by supporting and mentoring engineering apprentices
**Requirements:**
* Satisfactory completion of a recognized apprenticeship in a related industry to NVQ level 3
* GCSE passes in Mathematics and English
* Full clean driving license
* Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry
* Smart and well-presented
* Good communicator at all levels
* Flexible approach to work
* Computer literate and able to demonstrate use of IT relevant to role
* Ability to travel UK and Ireland as required
