Project Supervisor Opportunity at EQUANS

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Supervisor to join our team at EQUANS. As a Project Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and monitoring of sub-contractors, ensuring that all works are completed to the highest standard and within the agreed timeframe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure and monitor all hand back works activity through to completion
  • Monitor sub-contractor performance, ensuring that all planned works are delivered on time and to the required standard
  • Accountable to the Project Manager for the day-to-day supervision and monitoring of sub-contractors
  • Responsible for the day-to-day organisation of lifecycle projects to meet contractual agreements
  • Assist in the preparation of commercial sub-contracts
  • Oversee all contract activities to ensure all safety aspects are managed and monitored in accordance with site procedures and requirements
  • Take ownership of client needs and pursue effective communications to build a stable relationship
  • Operate EQUANS QA procedures and maintain clear and legible records as required
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of H&S and environmental regulations
  • Organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines are met
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems
  • Ability to measure, work to plans (method statements), read technical diagrams and communicate, present and report technical information
  • Ability to work under pressure, take ownership of problems through to satisfactory conclusion

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Supervisor with:

  • NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications preferred
  • Professional qualifications, or working towards, MBIFM/CMI or similar
  • Strong customer focus with experience of delivering high standards of Customer Service. Previous FM experience within a PFI environment would be an advantage
  • Sound awareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipment
  • Demonstrable experience in Project management, formal qualifications would be preferable
  • Competent in use of Microsoft packages, particularly Word and Excel to produce accurate and well-presented text, data and pictorial reports

Enhanced DBS Check:

This role includes an enhanced DBS check with barred lists, therefore ability to pass is essential.
