Job Summary

This position is available for a Cardiology Fellow with a focus on Structural Heart Disease training and research. The role also includes experience in coronary intervention, acute cardiology service, on-call rotations, and clinic responsibilities. Additionally, the post offers opportunities to participate in a busy Research program and write papers.

Main Responsibilities
  • This is a full-time position with potential for Consultant-level on-call duties depending on training level.
  • Opportunity for extensive training in structural interventions, including TAVI, PFO and ASD closure, LAAO, and other procedures.
  • Responsibilities include running Structural Heart meetings, collaborating with specialist nurses and research teams, and supporting ongoing clinical trials.

The successful candidate will work closely with named consultants Professor David Hildick-Smith and Dr James Cockburn, participating in on-call duties and providing care for cardiology patients when needed.
