· As a Transport Support Specialist, you will assist students, particularly those with additional requirements, in their journey to and from educational institutions.
· The service currently supports around 800 students aged 4 to 25 who utilize transport services, which may include minibuses or taxis.
· This position offers the opportunity to interact with a diverse group of students, gaining valuable experience while facilitating their access to schools across the region.
Key Information:
· Applicants should reside within the relevant local authority area.
· Please note that the hours for this role are flexible, as you will be part of a relief team to cover absences as needed.
· Coverage may be required during weekdays, and you may receive notifications for future assignments, which could be arranged on short notice.
· This position requires a thorough Enhanced DBS check, including a barred list check for child-related roles.
