Position Overview
The role of Interim Financial Analyst is a contract position lasting between 3 to 6 months, offering a competitive daily rate. In this capacity, you will be responsible for:
- Working closely with Finance and Strategy teams to refine and enhance the current financial model.
- Conducting daily forecasting to provide real-time financial insights, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate projections.
- Preparing and presenting comprehensive financial analyses to internal stakeholders, banks, private equity investors, and external parties.
- Assessing various scenarios and performing scenario planning using the financial model to support strategic decision-making.
- Assisting in equity raises, debt initiatives, and M&A activities by delivering precise financial projections, sensitivity analyses, and valuation insights.
- Thoroughly analyzing model outputs to identify trends and areas for improvement, and presenting findings to corporate finance and senior leadership.
- Collaborating with various teams (Finance, Strategy, Operations, Legal) to ensure the financial model accurately reflects business activities.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in financial modeling, preferably within a corporate finance setting.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling software, and data visualization tools.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Prior experience in interim or contract roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
The daily rate reflects a fair market value, aligning with your previous salary or day rate.
