Role: Mechanical Design Engineer

Premier Engineering is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Salisbury. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience with CAD software, particularly SolidWorks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new products and systems using CAD software
  • Work on full lifecycle design projects, from concept to production
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive engineering development
  • Develop and maintain technical drawings and documentation
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in mechanical engineering
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar design or mechanical engineering position
  • Excellent proficiency with CAD software, including SolidWorks
  • Experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, fluid handling, hydraulics, piping, instrumentation, structural steel, or similar industries
  • Degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Proven ability to drive engineering development and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
