iO Associates, a leading software design house, is seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join their team in the UK/EU region. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automation solutions for a variety of market sectors.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PLC/SCADA development, with a strong background in commercially available PLC systems, including Allen Bradley and Siemens PCS7. You will be comfortable working independently or as part of a team, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end automation solutions for various market sectors
- Develop and maintain PLC/SCADA systems, including programming and testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PLC/SCADA development
- Strong knowledge of commercially available PLC systems, including Allen Bradley and Siemens PCS7
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
What We Offer
