Our client operates within a specialized sector of engineering and is seeking a Procurement Analyst to enhance their dynamic team.

• Manage the sourcing and procurement of both contractual and non-contractual goods.
• Utilize MRP systems to maintain supplier information, assess supplier performance, and generate MRP reports along with manual requisitions.
• Oversee supplier performance and implement enhancement initiatives.

• A qualification in Purchasing (CIPS) is preferred but not mandatory; candidates should be open to pursuing this qualification, which may involve out-of-hours or distance learning.
• Approximately 3 years of experience with MRP/ERP/SAP systems, demonstrating proficiency in placing and reviewing Purchase Orders, as well as updating parts and supplier or customer data.
• Proficient in the MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous, particularly in marine manufacturing.
• Strong mathematical and English language skills.
• A professional and entrepreneurial approach to procurement is essential.
