We are seeking a skilled Polisher to join our team at Igloo in Bridgwater, Somerset.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the UK's leading automotive companies, with a nationwide presence.

The Role:

  • As a Polisher, you will be responsible for the final polish of freshly painted vehicle panels on a range of vehicles.
  • You will rectify any paint defects, such as runs in the paint.
  • You will use a handheld polisher to flat and polish vehicle panels.
  • You will also undertake some touch-in work on vehicles in this role.

Requirements:

  • You will need previous experience of working within an automotive bodyshop as a polisher and understand vehicle repair methods.
  • You must be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of polishing out runs and defects in freshly painted vehicle panels.
  • You will need to work efficiently but to a high standard.
  • You must hold a full, category B driving licence, with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
