Job Summary
The Disclosure & Barring Service's Relationship Management team is responsible for maintaining relationships with Registered Bodies (RBs) and Responsible Organisations (ROs).
The RB network consists of 690 organisations that submit over 4 million Standard and Enhanced DBS checks annually. The RO network comprises 91 ROs responsible for submitting over 1 million Basic DBS checks per year.
The Compliance/Support Manager will:
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with assigned RB/ROs and other stakeholder accounts.
- Promote new and existing DBS products and services with RB/ROs and other stakeholders.
- Engage with RB/ROs and other stakeholders to gather insights for the development of DBS products, services, and strategies.
- Support the on-boarding of RB/ROs and other stakeholders onto IT platforms for electronic application submissions.
- Support the RB/RO compliance process and work with RB/ROs to ensure improvements and requirements are met.
Person Specification
Essential:
Experience of effective collaboration with internal & external stakeholders, developing a reliable and mutually beneficial business relationship.
Desirable:
Understanding of legislation and obligations relating to Registered Bodies and Responsible Organisations and eligibility for DBS checks. Understanding of the DBS application process.
