Filtermist Systems Ltd is a leading provider of clean air solutions, dedicated to protecting people and the environment. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Management Team Lead to join our Installation Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Installation and Technical Survey Engineers, ensuring that our designs meet industry standards and deliver exceptional support to our customers.
- Attend customer sites to survey and design LEV Systems, verifying safe access and installation methods.
- Liaise with area sales managers to provide design data and parts lists for LEV System Installations.
- Lead a team of Installation and Technical Survey Engineers, providing technical support and guidance.
- Coordinate tasks, solve technical issues, and oversee the quality of work to ensure adherence to industry standards and safety regulations.
- Inspire and motivate the team to achieve excellence in their work.
- Conduct team audits, training, and ongoing support to ensure the team is equipped to meet the demands of the role.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and under instruction from management.
- Ability to problem-solve with innovative solutions and a proactive approach.
- Methodological approach to problem-solving and ability to learn new analytical methods in a time-critical project environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to clearly convey technical data and findings to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and presentation skills, with the ability to work under pressure and deliver results within budget and time constraints.
- Flexibility in working location, with the ability to work from home, office, or on-site as required.
- Full UK driving license and ability to travel nationwide.
Qualifications and Experience
- Good level of education, with GCSE standard in Maths and English grade C or above.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar LEV Design role, with comparable goals and responsibilities.
- Strong technical knowledge of LEV systems specification and design.
- Experience in liaising with clients at all levels, with a proven track record of working in a LEV project/design role.
- Ability to work in a digital environment, using MS Teams, MS Office, and other relevant software.
- Qualification in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Design and/or industry experience with relevant BOHS qualifications; BOHS P601, BOHS P602.
