Contract Duration: 12 Months

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our renewable energy project operations in the UK. We are looking for a skilled professional to oversee the day-to-day activities of our project sites, ensuring the successful delivery of projects with a focus on efficiency, safety, and quality.

About the Role:

In this critical position, you will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating with subcontractors and site staff, and reporting project status to senior management and stakeholders. Your leadership will be essential in building strong relationships with project partners, local authorities, and community groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage all site operations, ensuring project deadlines are met and operations run smoothly.
  2. Coordinate effectively with subcontractors and manage site staff to ensure all team members are aligned with project goals.
  3. Regularly update and report on project status to senior management and key stakeholders.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with project partners, local authorities, and community groups.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in a Site Manager role within the renewable energy sector, particularly in Grid Transmission & Distribution projects.
  2. Excellent leadership and team management skills, capable of motivating staff and managing complex team dynamics.
  3. Relevant industry certifications, such as SMSTS or NEBOSH, would be advantageous.
