Residential Conveyancing Paralegal Opportunity

Reed is seeking a skilled Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join their esteemed firm in Stirling. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a background in Residential Conveyancing, who can manage their own caseload and contribute positively to the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organise clients' files for residential property transactions, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Collaborate with paralegals across different locations, promoting a fair distribution of workload and fostering a team-oriented environment.
  • Provide cost estimates to clients and manage billing processes, maintaining transparency and accuracy.
  • Confidently utilise case management systems and technology to streamline processes, enhancing productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage post-exchange tasks, including property registrations, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Draft and negotiate transactional documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of client correspondence and legal documentation, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Participate in monthly paralegal meetings with a partner for caseload reviews and professional development, promoting growth and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Able to independently manage a full caseload of residential files, demonstrating self-motivation and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in using case management systems and other legal technologies, with a willingness to adapt and learn.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
  • Strong drafting and negotiating skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities, with a willingness to collaborate and support colleagues in achieving shared goals.
