About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Lead to join our team at AXIS Capital. As a key member of our Pricing and Portfolio Management team, you will be responsible for driving the data insights strategy and developing a suite of insights for consumers of pricing and portfolio construction data and metrics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of data analysts and data visualization developers to build and maintain reports, dashboards, and information assets that inform, satisfy, and delight internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization, working closely with the pricing and portfolio management team and other data consumers to support their MI needs.
  • Focus on satisfying business priorities in a clear, purposeful, and exciting way.
  • Be the primary point of entry for day-to-day pricing and portfolio construction data and analytics requirements.
  • Ensure delivery of the highest possible quality of outputs and reports.
  • Support the design and development of the approach to organizing, cataloguing, and marketing data insights and reports.
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in data analysis and insights. You will have a deep understanding of how to effectively communicate messages through data and MI, as well as exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements
  • Experience in relevant roles in the (re)insurance industry.
  • An Actuary or strong knowledge of Actuarial concepts and metrics.
  • Strong knowledge of the information needs of pricing and portfolio management functions within (Re) Insurance.
  • Ability to build reports and dashboards.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of how to effectively communicate messages through data and MI.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and adapt as necessary.
  • Strong ability to work with technical teams and multiple work streams.
