Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Oversee the commercial resources of projects to optimize profit margins through effective subcontractor contract management.
  • Contract Administration: Control subcontract packages from initial inquiry to final account settlement.
  • Risk Assessment: Regularly evaluate contractual risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Variation Assessment: Conduct assessments of variations and valuations of subcontractor accounts.
  • Cash Flow Optimization: Maximize cash flow through diligent control, measurement, negotiation, invoicing, and payment processes.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present monthly cost reports to the management team.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a principal contractor or subcontractor environment.
  • A solid educational background, including at least an HND qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
  • Proficiency in managing subcontract packages from inquiry to final account.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • A proven track record of stable employment history.
