Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer Surveyor to join our team. As an Engineer Surveyor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all crane and lifting equipment meets the required health and safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of crane and lifting equipment to ensure compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address equipment-related issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and clients on crane and lifting equipment operations and maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in crane and lifting equipment maintenance and inspection.

Requirements:

  • Hold a HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering qualification.
  • Have hands-on experience in maintaining, servicing, and repairing crane and lifting equipment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of LOLER and PUWER regulations.
  • Able to work unsupervised and make decisions on equipment condition and future use.
  • Able to work at height and in confined spaces.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to influence clients.
