Job Title: Business Administration Apprentice

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Business Administration Apprentice. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in business administration, while contributing to the success of our organization.

About the Role

The Business Administration Apprentice will play a crucial role in supporting our functional teams, including Finance, People, Governance, and Communications. You will be responsible for performing general administration duties, managing and responding to emails, scheduling and coordinating meetings, and maintaining and updating databases and records.

You will also assist in preparing reports, presentations, and spreadsheets, and ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of information. Additionally, you will handle inquiries professionally and provide information as needed, resolve routine issues, and escalate complex problems as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general administration duties, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping
  • Manage and respond to emails, phone calls, and other forms of communication
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Maintain and update databases, records, and files
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and spreadsheets
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of information
  • Handle inquiries professionally and provide information as needed
  • Resolve routine issues and escalate complex problems as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong work ethic, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be willing to complete a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship throughout the duration of your employment.

Qualifications:

  • GCSE English and Mathematics or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Proven ability to provide a customer-focused service
  • Ideally a knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, and a good level of numeracy and literacy
  • Desirable experience or understanding of working in an office environment
