Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Cherry Pick People is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in Bedfordshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Manage and direct pre-start and ongoing review meetings with contractors
  • Work with the Principal Designer to issue pre-construction information and review/approve plans
  • Provide assistance with financial budget processes and ensure data accuracy
  • Validate main contractor applications for payment and ensure project presentation meets high standards
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Project Manager or Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
  • Passion for varied refurbishment projects, ideally in the residential sector
  • Construction or real estate degree or qualified by experience
  • Previous experience using project management software and/or databases
  • Comfortable with financial management, budgeting, and managing variations
  • Competent in preparation and management of specification and contractual documentation
  • Full driving license and ability to travel across England and Wales
What We Offer:
  • Salary: £55-60,000 per annum
  • Car allowance: £7,000 per annum
