Job Overview

As an Interior Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and quality of interior spaces, overseeing operations to maintain exceptional safety and customer satisfaction standards.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

  • Leading a team of Interior Standards Operatives, ensuring compliance with established protocols and quality benchmarks. Providing mentorship and training to enhance team performance is vital.
  • Conducting regular assessments to verify that all interiors meet required safety and quality standards. Promptly addressing any discrepancies and implementing necessary corrective measures.
  • Efficiently managing resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment. Maintaining appropriate inventory levels to support operational needs.
  • Facilitating effective communication with Train Presentation Operatives, Depot Operations personnel, and other relevant departments. Preparing detailed reports on the status of interior maintenance activities, highlighting successes and areas for enhancement.
  • Organizing training sessions for operatives to keep them informed about safety protocols, industry standards, and operational updates. Identifying areas for continuous improvement and implementing relevant training initiatives.
  • Addressing operational challenges swiftly and effectively, implementing solutions to ensure seamless interior maintenance services. Collaborating with other departments to resolve any cross-functional issues impacting interior quality.
  • Monitoring customer feedback related to interior standards and implementing enhancements based on client expectations.
  • Ensuring adherence to all safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Enforcing safety protocols for the interior maintenance team to uphold a secure working environment.
  • Performing additional tasks as directed by the Depot Delivery Coordinator.

Ideal Candidate Profile

To be a strong candidate for this position, you should possess:

  • Prior experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations.
  • Capability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • A valid driving license.
