We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delegated Underwriting Authority Hub Manager to join our team at Aviva. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in leading service standards for the DUA Hub, ensuring that delegated underwriting authority relationships are onboarded and controlled effectively throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of processes and functions to ensure effective management of delegated underwriting authority relationships.
- Collaborate with internal partners, peers, and operations teams to drive business growth and improve underwriting effectiveness.
- Design and implement risk management frameworks and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and feedback to ensure best practice across the complete lifecycle of delegated underwriting authority relationships.
- Assist in reporting requirements to ensure senior management has high-quality, accurate management insights of all related activities.
- Prior experience within the insurance sector, preferably in a Delegated Underwriting, Change, or Commercial or Operational Effectiveness capacity.
- Excellent team and people management skills, including coaching and performance management.
- Prior experience in outsourcing and risk management software is essential.
- The ability to build and implement processes and functions.
- Previous experience of framework and process design.
- Competitive salary (dependent on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
