Job Summary:
- Take responsibility for one of our largest retail accounts, driving profitable growth and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful account management.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet business objectives, leveraging industry insights and market trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at our largest retail accounts.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive profitable growth and meet business objectives.
- Sales Team Management:
- Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and support to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and expansion.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and industry experts.
- Performance Metrics:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to inform business decisions and drive growth.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance and meet business objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in a National Account Manager role or equivalent.
- Experience managing a P&L within the grocery industry.
- Private label food experience.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex data and develop insights to inform business decisions.
