We are seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our team at Teaching Personnel, working with several secondary schools in the Liverpool/Wirral area. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set work in the absence of the classroom teacher, providing a supportive and engaging learning environment for students aged 11-16.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver pre-set work in a variety of subjects, including English, maths, science, and humanities
- Supervise students in the classroom, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Communicate effectively with teachers and other school staff to ensure a smooth transition of lessons
- Provide support and guidance to students who require additional help
- Previous experience working with students, preferably in a secondary school or youth work setting
- Confidence and adaptability in your approach, with the ability to engage with students of varying ages and abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers and other school staff
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Competitive pay rates, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay
