About the Role

Keighley College is seeking an exceptional Course Leader for Law to teach on our A Levels and support the implementation of T Level. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and assess essential knowledge and understanding to learners.
  • Record student progress, motivate and inspire students to achieve targets and develop their skills to enable progression.
  • Reflect on teaching and learning methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Adapt curriculum delivery methods to maximise effectiveness, including through the use of technology.
  • Plan, prepare and develop effective schemes of work, lesson plans, teaching and learning resources, including online learning resources for identified modules.
  • Deliver inspiring sessions across the curriculum using a wide range of teaching methods for identified modules.
  • Develop and employ effective assessment activities for identified modules.
  • Assess student work, provide constructive and timely feedback to motivate and inspire learners to improve and record learners' progress for identified modules.
About You
  • You will hold an Honours Degree in a relevant subject and have relevant experience in teaching these to 16-18 year-olds up to level 3.
  • Holds a L5 Teaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE)
  • Inspire, motivate and engage the next generation of law practitioners.
  • Act with honesty and integrity to maintain high standards of ethics and professional standards.
  • Manage and promote restorative practice approaches and the strengthening of relationships.
  • Role model and promote a positive image of the college.
  • Comply with all legislative and regulatory requirements.
