Job Summary:

We are seeking a research partnership with a Canadian Alliance Missions critical minerals research project to develop collaborative opportunities to address key critical minerals research priorities. The successful applicant will work with a Canadian research partner to optimise efficiency and minimise environmental impact across critical minerals value chains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a Canadian research partner to develop a research project that addresses key critical minerals research priorities
  • Work with the Canadian research partner to optimise efficiency and minimise environmental impact across critical minerals value chains
  • Develop a project plan that outlines the research objectives, methodology, and timeline
  • Manage the project budget and ensure that all expenses are in line with the funding guidelines
  • Communicate regularly with the Canadian research partner and other stakeholders to ensure that the project is progressing as planned

Requirements:

  • Be based at a UK research organisation eligible for NERC funding
  • Meet the individual eligibility requirements
  • Have a strong track record of research collaboration and partnership
  • Have a good understanding of critical minerals research priorities and the importance of sustainability
