Join Our Team as a Lead Project Engineer

This is a remarkable chance to become a vital member of Thames Water's innovative team managing Capital initiatives. As a Lead Project Engineer, you will work under the guidance of a Senior Engineer to ensure adherence to our exceptional standards and expectations for design, execution, and safety protocols. Your role is crucial, and your efforts will significantly contribute to maintaining these high standards.

Your Responsibilities as a Lead Project Engineer
  • Achieve optimal technical results from Project Definition Briefs while maximizing value through risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to and enhance Technical Asset Standards continuously.
  • Facilitate Design approvals between Asset Management and Capital Delivery as dictated by the Delivery Stream.
  • Ensure Technical assurance throughout the phases of delivery, commissioning, and asset handover.

Work Environment
Hybrid—You will be required to attend the office weekly and conduct site visits as necessary based on business needs.

36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications and Skills Required
  • Engineering HNC or HND / Degree in ICA, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Process Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in developing technical project solutions and briefs within your specific discipline.
  • Familiarity with project delivery in process-oriented industries.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations within the construction sector.
  • Insight into industrial processes relevant to your engineering field.
