We are seeking a candidate with at least 3 years of experience coding in an acute NHS Trust, using ICD-10 and OPCS-4 classifications across a broad range of specialties.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the development and implementation of clinical coding standards and guidelines.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and consistent coding practices.
  3. Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with coding regulations.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 3 years of clinical coding experience within an acute NHS Trust, covering a wide range of specialties, using ICD-10 and OPCS-4.
  2. ACC accredited.
  3. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and clinical procedures.
