About the Role
At Tesco, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences across our retail estate. As a key member of our Property Maintenance team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores, distribution centers, and head offices. We're looking for a skilled and experienced HVAC Gas Engineer to join our team, responsible for maintaining and servicing gas safe systems across our large retail estate.

Key Responsibilities
As an HVAC Gas Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
  1. Ensuring all Tesco sites are safe and functioning environments for customers and colleagues.
  2. Following planned work schedules to achieve first-time fixes, maximizing productivity and effectiveness.
  3. Delivering high-quality work standards across the estate, with year-on-year improvement.
  4. Using problem-solving skills and innovation to identify and develop solutions for key and common issues.
  5. Managing tasks at a local level through to completion/resolution, informing key stakeholders throughout the process.
  6. Utilizing mobile devices, phones, and tablets to drive best practice in work completion and updates.
  7. Using business systems to drive best practice in work order reporting, supporting asset lifecycle management.
  8. Supporting KPI delivery through the practical application of skill sets and effective use of business systems.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
  1. Full driving license.
  2. Health & Safety awareness.
  3. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  4. Office 365 knowledge.
  5. Level 3 City & Guilds or equivalent Mechanical Engineering/Engineering qualification.
  6. Digital confidence, with the ability to comfortably operate mobile phones and tablets to view workloads, emails, teams, and business systems.
