Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes to the highest standards, adhering to established recipes and guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized work station in accordance with food safety regulations.
  • Supervise and guide a team of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to operational procedures.
  • Manage food inventory effectively, minimizing waste and adhering to budgetary constraints.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Possess a Level 2 Food Hygiene Qualification (e.g., Food Hygiene Certificate).
  • Hold a Diploma in Professional Cookery at minimum Level 2 (e.g., C&G 706/2).
  • Demonstrate experience in contract catering environments.
  • Exhibit culinary creativity and a passion for delivering exceptional food quality.
  • Possess strong cost control awareness and budgetary management skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent teamwork, communication, and leadership abilities.
