About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Student Communications Officer to join our team at CATS Global Schools. As a key member of our Student Services department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our international students, ensuring they have a seamless and enjoyable experience at our school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a warm and welcoming reception service to students, parents, and agents, ensuring they feel valued and supported throughout their journey with us.
  • Coordinate student induction and registration events, working closely with our team to ensure a smooth transition for new students.
  • Support the Registrar in coordinating our annual Graduation ceremony, ensuring it is a memorable and celebratory event for our students.
  • Manage the enrolment process for continuing, extending, and transferring students, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and up-to-date.
  • Issue offer letters for continuing students and liaise with other CGS schools to ensure any student transfers are handled efficiently.
  • Support the Registrar and Immigration Compliance Officer in ensuring the school is compliant with UKVI rules and regulations, including managing early withdrawals and reporting changes to student programmes of study.
  • Activate students' accounts, provide them with login details, and reset passwords as required.
  • Perform post and reception duties as needed, ensuring our students receive the highest level of service.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs including Maths and English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • IT literate and proficient in using our school's systems and software.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive, flexible, trustworthy, dependable, and reliable, with a strong commitment to our school's values and ethos.
