Winter Maintenance Driver Opportunity

Morgan Hunt Recruitment is seeking a skilled HGV Driver to join our team for a winter maintenance contract in Skye. As a Class 2 HGV Driver, you will be responsible for driving a variety of vehicles, including gritters, for winter maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive HGV Class 2 vehicles for winter maintenance work
  • Operate gritters and other road maintenance equipment
  • Work on a rota basis, undertaking a variety of road maintenance tasks
Benefits:
  • Hourly rate of £17.52 per hour
  • Overtime paid at an enhanced rate of £26.28 per hour (Time and Half)
  • Night shift paid at 1.3 times the hourly rate for the first 40 hours and 1.8 times for anything over 40 hours
  • Standby payments available
