About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patch Manager to join our team at the Northern Ireland Housing Executive. As a key member of our housing management team, you will be responsible for providing a customer-focused housing management service, including tenancy management, estate management, and community involvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage tenancies, including tenancy commencement, management of existing and new tenancies, and tenancy termination.
  • Provide estate management services, including planned maintenance, customer payments, and community involvement.
  • Liaise with the Housing Executive's leasehold unit regarding leaseholders within the patch.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Manage and prioritize a challenging workload with a wide range of responsibilities.
Requirements
  • A degree-level qualification with a minimum of 1 year's relevant experience, or a B-Tech Higher level qualification with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience, or 5 GCSEs or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience must be directly related to Housing Management and gained within a front-line customer support environment.
  • Experience of working in a customer-focused environment with a proven ability to deliver a high standard of customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively with partners and develop professional relationships & networks across a wide range of services.
  • Good problem-solving skills, taking a pragmatic approach to understanding and solving complex issues.
What You'll Get in Return

This position offers an immediate start with the opportunity to work with Northern Ireland's largest social landlord. You will be paid via Hays on a weekly basis for all hours worked. The temporary post offers a good opportunity to take up a post with NIHE in advance of a permanent recruitment exercise which we understand will be undertaken in due course.
