Job Title: Accident and Emergency Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Accident and Emergency Nurse to join our team at Turning Point Scotland's Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Crisis Service.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing individualized support to adults with a wide range of needs. As an Accident and Emergency Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to individuals experiencing a crisis due to alcohol or other drug use.

You will work closely with our team to provide low-threshold, direct access services, including crisis residential units, 24-hour injecting equipment provision, wound care, harm reduction advice, signposting, and naloxone training and provision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality care to individuals in crisis
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide individualized support
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service users, families, and communities
  • Contribute to the development of harm reduction approaches and safety protocols
  • Participate in ongoing learning and development opportunities
