About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Specialty Doctor to join our Emergency Department at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the development of junior doctors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and initiate treatment for patients in the department
  • Ensure investigations are requested and acted upon appropriately
  • Provide support to medical and non-medical staff
  • Seek advice and support from consultants as needed
  • Ensure follow-up of patients
  • Participate in clinical and service activities to ensure high standards of patient care

Person Specification

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working at Registrar level in Emergency Medicine
  • Broad experience in Emergency Medicine, Anaesthetics, General Medicine, General Surgery, Paediatrics, and Orthopaedics
  • Experience of providing medical education
  • Registration with the GMC and evidence of Continual Professional Development
  • ALS, ATLS, APLS, or PALS certification
