Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, specifications, budgets, and client satisfaction.
- Maintain overall financial accountability for project budgets.
- Oversee subcontract management and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Provide leadership and motivation to a diverse team of engineers, including hardware, software, and installation specialists.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety standards in collaboration with the Company’s Q,E,H&S Manager and project H&S Advisor.
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to report on progress and address any concerns.
- Support business development efforts by exceeding customer expectations through exceptional project delivery.
Essential Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge and experience in Electrical Engineering or E, C&I projects.
- Proven track record in project management within the engineering sector, ideally in the Power Transmission field or a similar regulated environment.
- Experience in planning and scheduling using Microsoft Project.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with all stakeholders.
- Commercially savvy with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues early.
- Demonstrated success in meeting project deadlines, maintaining profit margins, and ensuring customer satisfaction and quality.
- Experience in managing subcontractors.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience in team management.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel as required.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Familiarity with NEC3/4 contracts.
- Progress towards or completion of the APM Practitioner Qualification or an equivalent recognized Project Management certification.
- Experience in project proposals and bid submissions.
