At Hays Construction and Property, we are seeking an experienced International Property Underwriter to join our team. As an International Property Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting new and renewal property binders, exercising judgment in all underwriting matters, and ensuring the effective management of property binders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US DA markets and complex underwriting of Binder/Delegated Authority risks. You will also have experience in International Commercial property business, including liability associated with commercial property business, and International Homeowners and High Value Home business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite new and renewal property binders
  • Exercise judgment in all underwriting matters
  • Manage property binders effectively
  • Monitor performance, EPI, referrals, bordereaux, rate movement, claims trends, and audits

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of International Commercial property business
  • Experience in International Homeowners and High Value Home business
  • Lloyd's insurance market knowledge
  • Underwriting Principles and Legal Principles
