We are seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to play a pivotal role in ensuring an environmentally responsible workplace with a culture of safety, health, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement environmental management systems throughout the company.
- Own the ESG roadmap and report back to the management team on progress via regular updates.
- Ensure compliance with local and national environmental regulations.
- Champion best practice sustainability initiatives within the organisation.
- Develop and update safety policies, procedures, and training programs which meet legal requirements and promote best practice across the company.
- Support, train, and coach Directors and Managers to enable them to fulfil their H&S duties and create a work environment where safety is everyone's responsibility and focus.
- Nebosh General Certificate (essential) and willingness to work towards a Diploma in Health and Safety Management.
- Environmental qualification (desirable).
- Experience in Health and Safety management, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance in either an industrial or public-facing organisation.
- Passion for sustainability, safety, and health.
- 10% employer pension contribution with a choice to contribute up to a further 5% yourself, which would then be matched by us as well (So, 20% potential contribution to your pension).
