Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant with IT Support

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with strong IT skills to support students with Special Educational Needs in a large secondary school. The successful candidate will assist students in accessing the curriculum, implement personalized learning plans, and utilize an AI-powered robot to enhance their learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group support to students with SEN in various subjects.
  • Assist students in using the AI robot for interactive learning activities.
  • Troubleshoot and ensure the AI technology is operating effectively.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with the SENCo and other staff to deliver tailored support for students with additional learning needs.
Requirements:
  • Experience supporting students with SEN in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong IT skills, including familiarity with educational technology and AI tools.
  • Ability to learn quickly and manage technological tools such as AI robots.
  • Excellent communication skills with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Desirable:
  • Experience using AI, robotics, or other technology in education is a plus.
