Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipelayer to join our dynamic team, working on various infrastructure projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of foul and surface water drainage to adoptable standards, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
• Lead on deep excavations with EUSR Categories 3, 4 & 5 – Install, Inspect & Remove Timber, Steel and Proprietary Excavation Support Systems experience.
• Medium Risk Confined Space management, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
• Perform and log drainage air/water tests, maintaining accurate records and reports.
• Operate and maintain construction equipment related to pipe installation, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Read and interpret drawings and project specifications, applying technical knowledge and expertise.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met, promoting a culture of teamwork and communication.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Requirements

• Valid CSCS card, demonstrating a commitment to health and safety.
• CPCS/ NPORS dumper (desirable), enhancing operational efficiency.
• City & Guilds Medium Risk Confined space certification, ensuring a safe working environment.
• EUSR Categories 3, 4 & 5 – Install, Inspect & Remove Timber, Steel and Proprietary Excavation Support Systems, showcasing technical expertise.
• Proven experience as a pipelayer in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of pipe laying techniques and procedures.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and challenging environments, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
