Job Description

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our fast-paced and highly commercial FP&A team at Howden Group Holdings. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing commercial and analytical support to the business, working closely with stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver robust, insightful analysis of weekly business performance and monthly operational board packs, providing actionable recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Provide timely ad-hoc analysis of financial and non-financial drivers using Excel and PowerBI, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models, ensuring accuracy and reliability of data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business decisions, leveraging your analytical skills to inform strategic initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying your knowledge to drive business excellence.

Requirements:

  • Qualified or studying towards a recognized accountancy qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, with a strong understanding of financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify key insights.
  • Proficient in Excel, with experience using PowerBI and other business intelligence tools.
