About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Buyer or Junior Buyer to join our team at Disturbia, a leading fashion brand known for its unique and unconventional approach to fashion. As a key member of our buying team, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality fashion accessories and homeware products that align with our brand's aesthetic and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement buying strategies to meet and exceed sales targets, while maintaining a strong focus on profit margins and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and ensuring timely delivery of products.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities, and make informed decisions about product lines and types.
  • Work closely with the Buying Director and senior leadership to develop and evolve product lines, and to ensure alignment with the company's overall strategy.
  • Manage annual production and manufacturing budgets, and ensure effective communication with the production team.
  • Identify and develop new suppliers to maintain a robust and resilient supply base.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer feedback and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in fashion accessories and homeware buying, with a strong understanding of the manufacturing process and critical paths.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and opportunities in the market.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Confidence, self-motivation, and tenacity, with a passion for fashion and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
