Join Our Team as a Management Accountant Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and part-qualified Management Accountant to join our team in Leeds. As a Management Accountant Trainee, you will be responsible for providing technical and accounting support to our UK Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce technical and accounting reports and analysis in line with the monthly and yearly accounting timetable.
  • Manage accounts submissions, including detailed analysis on expense lines to ensure reporting deadlines and submissions to Group reporting are met.
  • Coordinate meetings with cost centre managers to discuss budget variance analysis.
  • Maintain all UK company accruals and prepayment schedules and ensure they are reconciled to Sage accounting records.
  • Support the production of the UK budgeting and forecasting, and produce monthly financial control framework reports.

Requirements:

  • Actively studying towards ACCA/CIMA and be part qualified.
  • Knowledge of accounting software packages; Sage 200 would be advantageous.
  • Competent Excel user (pivot tables, V&H Lookups, Sum Ifs, etc.).
  • Attention to detail and good analytical skills, as well as demonstrating excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.

What We Offer:

  • Salary: £33,000 - £40,000 dependant on experience, study package, hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home).
