Job Overview:Tribal Tech Limited is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join their finance team in Manchester City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to drive financial performance and provide strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts, including detailed P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Month-End Procedures: Manage month-end close processes, ensuring timely journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, working closely with operational teams to ensure realistic and achievable financial plans.
- Financial Analysis: Provide detailed financial analysis and commentary on variances, highlighting risks and opportunities to senior management.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and assist with decision-making to drive business performance.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve financial systems, processes, and reporting mechanisms to support the needs of a dynamic and growing business.
- Stock & Inventory Management: Support inventory control through detailed financial reporting and analysis of stock movements, ensuring accurate stock valuations.
- Audit & Compliance: Assist with both internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Strong experience in management accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to present complex financial data in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems (experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar is advantageous).
- Competent Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to handle large data sets.
