Housekeeper Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Midwest Services Ltd. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our hotel rooms and common areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
  • Change guest bed sheets and clean their bathroom and toilet.
  • Empty bins and clean communal areas.
  • Inspect rooms and common areas to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Ensure that guest items are left safe in the room.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to supervisors immediately.
  • Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
  • Strictly adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
  • Handle guest requests and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
Additional Duties:
  • Assist in training new team members when required.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on best practices and standards.
Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience in housekeeping or a similar role.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Basic English proficiency for effective communication.

  • Previous experience in hospitality or property management.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
