Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loan Administration: Oversee the day-to-day administration of committed and uncommitted loan facilities, ensuring accurate and comprehensive booking of transactions in the firm's records.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership to the Loan Administration team members, identifying and implementing necessary changes in existing policies and processes.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Assist the Loan Administration Manager(s) and Assistant Manager(s) with the preparation and control of the department's monthly reporting function.
  • Customer Service: Receive telephone and written instructions from bilateral customers and act upon these in the appropriate manner, obtaining authorisation when necessary.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate and facilitate the planning of training within the department and develop the individual roles of all Loan Administration staff.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Demonstrate a solid understanding of documentation issues and conduct thorough reviews, raising any administrative matters with the relevant department.
  • Process Improvement: Monitor the day-to-day administration of loans, deposits, and current/savings account movements, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in managing staff and teams, with a strong track record of driving change and improving daily processes.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
