Job Summary:

As an HGV Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of passengers with reduced mobility (PRM) and those requiring assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver or collect PRM passengers at the aircraft door and assist with their transfer into their seat or wheelchair.
  • Carry out customer car agent duties as directed by movement control, including escorting arriving and departing special assistance passengers.
  • Provide assistance with baggage handling and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed legibly and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the PRM team to ensure seamless passenger transfers.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license.
  • HGV class 2 driving license required.
  • Self-motivated and reliable with a conscientious approach to safety and security.
  • Excellent communication skills with an empathetic nature.
  • Ability to lift passengers in accordance with manual handling guidelines.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure.
